  • Mobile Contacts Lost After Active Sync

    I am using Exchange 2k3 std version.The active sync seems to work fine.Today two of my users got HTC mobiles,One was HTC Touch and the other was HTC Shift.The HTC shift worked fine but the HTC touch lost all its contacts after active sync.(Active Sync is Successfull on both)I checked a few other forums where others also faced the same problem with MS active Sync.The user does not have any backup of his contacts..

    Has anyone else seen such problem...Is there any way we can get back the contacts...

    Any Help wud be appreciated...

    Contacts were lost from where? Outlook? If they were lost from Outlook then Recover Deleted items may get them back, but otherwise you are going to have to go back to backups of the Exchange server. If you don't have backups of the Exchange data then those contacts have gone.
