  • add domain mail to user

    Hi,

I want to add another domain for my exchange 2003 but I want all the domain email to get to specific user and not to the whole users as in reciepient policy!

    Anyway to do this?

    Thanks in advanced,

    Tsahy Erez

Add the email address to the user manually.
You can also add it as a recipient policy but un-tick the box so it doesn't apply to anyone as well.
    cheers

Re: add domain mail to user

If you add the domain to recipient policy then remove the tick/check mark, then Exchange will not accept email for that domain.

The best way to do this is to create a new recipient policy. Add the domain to the list. DO NOT set a filter, which will mean that the users will not get an email address in the new domain automatically. Then adjust the required users' account manually as already advised.
