I performed a DNS/ MX lookup and got the following:
    MX-VERIFY-CGI run for ``onyxarchitects.com''

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Doing resolver lookup for T=MX domain=``onyxarchitects.com''

    DNS yields following MX entries
    onyxarchitects.com IN MX 10 mail.onyxarchitects.com

    Only one MX record...
Well, no backups, but as all systems are looking for MX record in every case, not bad..

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Testing MX server: mail.onyxarchitects.com
Address lookup did yield following ones:

    IPv4 64.60.132.130

Testing server at address: IPv4 64.60.132.130

    Something WRONG!! rc=550

Is this because there is no postmaster account, and do I create one just like any other user account? Thanks for any help.

    Re: postmaster account

[email protected] is usually on the account that was used to install Exchange - usually the administrator account. Therefore I would suggest that you simply add [email protected] yourdomain to that account.

Do note that it is used internally as well. If the users get an NDR then the NDR comes "from" the account with [email protected] address on it.
