  • Problems with groups in Address book.

    Hi there,

We are having an issue with distribution and mail enabled security groups disappearing from the global address list.
They are visible in active dorectory and have not been marked as hidden.

We can fix this by selecting hide from address list, then unhiding but we want to find out why this is happening so we can provide a more permanent solution.

We are running Exchange Server 2000 with all the updates.

    Your assistance is appreciated.

    Thanks

    Dav

        Hi Grant,

I;ve tryed cached mode/non cached mode in outlook but doesnt make any difference. In reply to your prevoius post, we have 2 DCs in the same location with the exchange server.

        Thanks

What you mean dont demote it as its already a DC.
I'm not sure that is going to be the issue as AD likes Exchange

                  But thanks for your input.

Can any one else shed some light on this as its an issue whichis not going away.

                  Thanks

We are still having issues with disappearing names and groups in GAL.

Does anyone have any answers please?
