  • Send anonymous mails through outlook

    Hi,

My company wants to recieve the anonymous feedback from the users to be sent to a specific ID.

Is there any way through which we can send the anonymous mails by using outlook 2003?

    Regards,

create a new account called [email protected], use that
alternatively use that email for a DL

no normal MTA will receive an email with an empty "mail from:" field

No such thing as anonymous email in Exchange. All email is authenticated, if it is internal. There are enough traces in the event logs to find out who sent a message, or at least narrow down the list of suspects to a small number.

If you want to send genuine anonymous email use a web form, preferably on an external web server (so that the logs only show your external IP address). The message will then come in as other external traffic which is the closest you will get to anonymous.

Using any kind of mailbox, public folder or list where both the sender and the recipient are on Exchange will not give you anonymity.
