    Hi,
    I am running a DC and a standalone exchange. I can't sent mail (local email account) to external email accounts such as hotmail or yahoo, etc or receive from them. The message will stuck in the exchange queue. The following are what i have set up on each of the server:

    DC- domain.local
    forward zone:
    exdomain.org

    A-mail
    mail.exdomain.org
    ip:192.168.2.6

    Mx-exdomain.org
    mail.exdomain.or
    10

    Exchange- domain.local
    email policy: @exdomain.org
    create smtp connector - using exchange as a bridgehead
    no smarthost
    I enable OWA on HTTP
    Security: basic auth

    I could access my mail account on OWA within LAN but I can't access my mail server or use the OWA interface from WAN.

    any information will be great and thank you in advance.

    Are you just now setting up exchange?

    There needs to be DNS records setup on your external dns that point to your external ip's and you need to have your firewall configured properly to allow traffic through to your mail server.
