  • Missing Protocols

I have installed ES 2003 but I can only see X400 and not SMTP, POP3 etc.

What have I done wrong? I cannot see how to correct this.

    Re: Missing Protocols

If you don't create a recipient policy you will not see SMTP addresses for users.

SMTP/POP3/IMAP themselves are services and reside in services.msc

        Re: Missing Protocols

I am looking under Server/[My Server]/Protocols, where I can see X400 but no others.

        Thanks.

Sounds like a bad Exchange install.
Remove Exchange using add/remove programs and reboot. Then remove IIS and reboot. Reinstall both. If it does it again, then follow the above procedure, then drop the machine in to a workgroup, wipe and reinstall. DO NOT wipe the machine while Exchange is installed or while it is a member of the domain as that will cause problems later.
