Are you trying to archive everything four times?
It isn't clear what you are asking or trying to achieve.

Re: exchange 2000 Archive all messages to other mailbox PROBLEM !!

      Thanks for your reply.

Um.....Let me say it more clear........

I have around 30 peoples their mailbox which in the mailstore A, and a supervisor which her mailbox is in mailstore B, a General manager is in mailstore C, at last my boss his mailbox is in mailstore D.

And what I want is like this :

Supervisor see all the emails In/From that 30 peoples in mailstore A plus any emails sent to her (30 peoples emails + Supervisor emails)

General manager could see all the emails what the supervisor could see ( 30 peoples emails + supervisor emails + general manager's emails )

Boss could see every email that GM could see ( 30 peoples + supervisor + GM + boss emails )

Then What I did before is checked the box of "Archive all messages sent or received" of mailstore A to supervisor mailbox. Then checked the same box for mailstore B to GM's mailbox. At last checked the same box for mailstore C to my boss mailbox.

But I don't know why now the emails to those 30 peoples only have archived to supervisor mailbox only. But I supposed that will be archived to GM & Boss mailbox as well.

But I remember before was OK.....when I only have three mailstores ......

      Again, Thanks for your help.

You can't journal a journaled mailbox. That would cause a loop. Whether you had it working before or not is not really the issue - as it shouldn't have worked.

The only option you would have is to journal to a list, where the mailbox being journaled is not a member of the list.

          Dear Simon,

Thanks for your reply. You mean I have to create two distribution lists in AD. One includes supervisor,GM & boss........And the other one includes GM & boss ??

Then put this list under the box of "archive all messages sent or received by mailbox on this store" for MailStore A and B instead of before what I set ??

But I have one question for this settings......Will it creates many multiple copies in my smtp queue as a result I will get a heavy traffic ??

          Really Thanks for your help......

I cannot answer questions on the traffic as what you are doing is very unusual. It is not something that I have ever seen before, and I have been working with Exchange for some time.

Basically you need to ensure that all unique traffic is being journaled. Therefore if the there are three people who need to see emails from a group of users, then all three need to be members of that group. If you then have two of those who need to see the other, then another group needs to be created with those two as the member.
