  • Enabled SSL and FBA....

I just enabled a godaddy SSL certificate - turned on FBA - fixed all our smarthphones and everything is working great.

My question is - when I enabled FBA, I thought when I login that I would have to put in: domain\username. All we have to do is enter in the username.

Why is that - did I do something wrong?

Does it matter? You can configure it to require the domain name in the Exchange VDir properties, but do you want to do it?

There was an undocumented change in Exchange 2003 SP2 that dropped the requirement for domain\ in the username if you are in a single domain environment. They didn't update the web page though.
