  • Using Exchange to process website Email

Is there a way to have Exchange to process E-mail requests from a website hosted on the same server?

The website would use Forms visitors will out and submit. Typically a script would control this process. I need ideas.

How about automating the creation of a new OL profile? How does the website process email? Does it use SMTP? If so, use Exchange's SMTP server, preferably a new SMTP Virtual Server with specific settings to allow the webserver to relay email through it. Take care not to open this VS to the world, or you'll be flooded with spam.

instead you can have a XP desktop which is configured with IIS SMTP snapin and allow the access to this XP machine in your exchange SMTP authentication settings. Add the XP machine IP address with port 25 on your Website application.

      Hope this helps!!!
