  • Dissapearing Network Post Exchnage Installation

I recently installed a new Dell PE 2900 with Dual NIC's into a Windows 2003 enviroment. The server in question holds all FSMO roles as well as file sharing. Upon installation of Exchnage 2003 and SP2 and a reboot the networking configuration has dissapeared. NIC's are present in the device manager, with an IP address, but there is no network connectivity. Is this an Exchnage issue or a Windows issue?

Thanks in advance to any who can offer assitance.

Multihomed DC's are bad idea add exchange on top of it and its begging for trouble. Just get rid of one nic.

Exchange on a DC is another bad idea, but whatever you do, do NOT unpromote it

IIRC promoting/unpromoting an Exchange server will badly break IIS
