    Hello all!

    A friend of mine has a problem with exchange...

    event log looks like this:

    Event Type: Error
    Event Source: ESE
    Event Category: General
    Event ID: 486
    Date: 13.2.2008
    Time: 09:39:15
    User: N/A
    Computer: exchange1
    Description:
    Information Store (2520) Users2nd Storage Group: An attempt to move the file "F:\EXCHSRVR\StorageGroups\ST2\Log\E02.log" to "F:\EXCHSRVR\StorageGroups\ST2\Log\E021ADEE.lo g" failed with system error 5 (0x00000005): "Access is denied. ". The move file operation will fail with error -1032 (0xfffffbf.

    What could be wrong? Permissions are correct, antivirus is set to exclude all .LOG, .EDB, .STM files from scanning...

    Any idea?

    When does that error appear?
    Is some kind of move of the files taking place?

      this crashed his exchange server...

      and now they are restoring from logs...
