  • Exchange 2003 SP2 and 18gb limit increase, any issues?

Our server recently hit the 18gb size and we are working on cleaning folders up. I would like to increase this size, but was told by a contractor that every machine they have increased the size of the database on has crashed and they had to restore the database.

Can anyone tell me if they know of any issues by doing this upgrade? I find it hard to believe that the database would crash by doing this.

    Thanks!

I wouldn't trust that contractor. The change is a registry hack. There is no reason why it should crash the server in such a way that requires a restore of the database. What a load of ********.
Its a fully supported change, not some dodgy hack.
