  • Change domain on Postmaster messages when hosting two domains

I've done a search but couldn't find something matching the issue.
    Here goes:

A client uses one and the same network for both his companies.
Let's call them Company A and Company B.
The network contains one DC (Windows 2003) that got Exchange 2003 on it.
Whenever an e-mail can't be delivered to someone within Company A the NDR message uses the e-mail address that goes with Company A.
For Example: Message couldn't be delivered to [email protected]
However, each time an e-mail message intended for someone working for Company B can't be delivered the NDR message goes with the Company A address aswell.
For Example: Message couldn't be delivered to [email protected] AND IT NEEDS TO BE Message couldn't be delivered to [email protected]!!

So my question is,how can I change the mail address of Company A from being used in NDR messages that are about e-mails that couldn't be delivered to someone within Company B.

    Help is much appreciated.

I have updated the question title to be more descriptive. If you want assistance with the question then a good subject is important.

What you want to do cannot be done natively. Exchange sends [email protected] emails from the default domain. If you want to use a different domain then you will need a third party tool. The only one I am aware of is right postmaster from ivasoft.biz.

      Thanks for your reply.
I'm going to give the program from Ivasoft a try.
