    Hello,

I will be performing offline maintenance on our Exchange server to defrag the datastores, after which I will be moving them to another Disk on the same server. My question is:

My Mail Stores are named A-F, G-M, N-S, T-Z. The corresponding files (.edb and .stm) do not match (one is still named priv1.edb for example).

Can I rename those files during the move process when I click Browse to choose the new location? Any problems with that?

    Thanks!

Renaming the files at that point is fine. Exchange will quite happily cope with that.

    Simon.
