  • Active Sync and Public Folders

    Hi,
we are using Ex 2k3 SP2 on a W2k3 server, Win XP SP2 Clients, Act Sync 4.5 and Win Mobile 6 smart phones. We would like to sync the Exchange contacts which lie in a public folder but AS doesn't offer this. Is there any way to do this other than to copy them into the users adrress books?
    Thanks
    Wolf

    No.
There are third party tools that will allow sync, such as Add2Exchange from diditbetter, but all those really do is copy the content to the Contacts folder so that it can be synchronised. That isn't likely to change, Microsoft is trying to kill public folders and have been for some time.

    Simon.
