  • Email Disapears Please help...

    Here's the deal:

    My client has an exchange server with an exchange email account.

    He uses outlook 2007 as his email client and connects to the exchange server.

    When he went to a new location and connected to the VPN to set up his exchange account on another pc everything was going fine.

    Yesterday, I told them to give it some time for the inbox and folders to populate.

    This morning they called me and informed me that there was 400 emails in his inbox.------- They only see mail from yesterday since we set up the account.

    Please help...

    Look at your configuration in Outlook. If you setup a client's Outlook on 2 different PC, make sure the Exhcange inbox is set to be in "Mailbox - Name of the person". If it's set to go in the personnal folders it'll disapear from Exchange. Just move them back from the personal folder to the Mailbox thingy to put them back on the Exchange server.

        Start > Control Panel > Mail > click e-mail accounts

        Then, go in the DATA FILES tab and set the "Mailbox - Username" to default for the Exchange account.
