  • Administrator Profile question

Using Windows 2003 Server and Exchange 2003, does the domain Administrator account have to have Exchange attributes and an email address for Exchange to work correctly?

    Re: Administrator Profile question

It should do. Although most sites will have mail enabled administrator because that was the account that was used to install Exchange. It will also be the account that has [email protected] on it.
What is your reason for asking? This may be one of those times where if you give you reason for asking rather than what you think is a solution to a problem, there may be a better solution.

Or let me put it another way - it has never crossed my mind to mail disable administrator.
