  • New mailbox in Ex2003 not availible to user

We have just installed a NEW Server running W2K3 Server and Exchange 2003 with SP2. I have two users in the Active directory that were given new mailboxes, but when the user attempts to attach to the new mail server (Outlook), their name is not recognized or can't be reconciled. The users authenticate on the domain with no issues, internet use is working etc.
We were on an 5.5 exchange box, but did not bring any of the old mailboxes over and all but 2 users out of the 75 can get to their new boxes. Any suggestions or insight is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mike

Re: New mailbox in Ex2003 not available to user

Did the user accounts get an email address automatically? They should have two - an SMTP address and an X.400 address. If not then Exchange hasn't stamped the account correctly using the process Recipient Update Service.
