  • Physical Exchange Server appearing even after making a cluster resource

I had to prepare a three node exchange 2003 cluster. By mistake I installed the exchange on physical servers before creating the cluster.

So as i installed the exchange all the three physical nodes started being displayed in Exchange System manager.

Later on I configured the cluster but system attendent resource was not being displayed in cluster resources. So i reinstalled the exchange and i got the SA resource in cluster resources list.

So I created two new virtual servers and one node will remain passive.

Now this new virtual is being displayed and it's working properly but physical server names also being appeared in Exchange System manger so please tell me how can i remove the same from ESM.

    Thanks

    Thanks,

I used ADSIEDIT to remove the server object although I was bit scared as I was suspecting it might have some adverse effect but It worked fine and everything is working properly now.
