  • Problem reinstalling exchange 2003

    Hello everybody

i hope some1 can help me out couse i think a made a real big mess with my exchange server 2003 SP2.

I had the necessity to uninstall exchange server 2003 from the server it was running on and reinstall it (on the same machine)

The removing procedure went smoothly but during the reinstalling procedure a bad error appeared.

whatever i try to do forestprep, remove, reinstall or anything.. a box appears saying something like:

"to run the setup in "install" or /forestprep mode you need to be a fully qualified exchange administrator in the organization.
To enable the account use the Delegation wizard in the exchange administration console.

So i did.. but i still can't delegate or add delegation or remove delegations.

I'm running the whole thing as a domain admin.. so i dunno wich user can have more permissions then a domain admin.

i think i messed up alot of things.. can any1 help me out for this?

    thnx in advice.

You need to be Ent. Admin and Schema Admin and Domain Admin in order to setup the first Exchange server in an Org.
