  • synchronization errors

    Some of my Exchange 2000 users who uses MAPI protocol is receiving synchronization error logs.and when I compare their mailbox contents from outlook and from the mapped drive (M located on the servers,I got big differences...
    please help

      I had similar porblems on our site.

      It was resolved by taking the clients out of cached mode.

        Taking the clients out of cached mode is hardly a solution. That simply turns off the feature that is causing the error. It doesn't fix the error.

        However as the OP hasn't given any information on what the sync is failing on, or what the logs say, further diagnosis is impossible.

        What I will say though is that you should NOT be looking at mailboxes through the M drive. That is the quickest way to corrupt your database.
