  • Mail Receiving problem

    Hi,

    Currently one user did not receive mail from particular domain but in mail tracking I saw that mail comes at categorizer and after that it terminated its self. This mail is auto generated by senderís server. I found three steps are as bel

    SMTP: MESSAGE SUBMITTED TO ADVANCED QUEUING
    SMTP: STARTED MESSAGE SUBMISSION TO ADVANCED QUEUE
    SMTP: MESSAGE SUBMITTED TO CATEGORIZER

    Categoriser is where antivirus software does its thing, so I would be looking there to see if the message has been quarantined/deleted.

      I had this issue, and it was an issue with Trend Micro Mail Security. I removed it, went with another, and problem solved.

        I am also using trendmicro but I did not found mail blocking from trendmicro. I have not configure any hard setting in trendmicro.

          You should ensure that any AV software on the server itself (not Exchange integrated AV) is not doing any real time scan on the Exchange directories. Antispam software can also process the message at the categoriser stage.

            yes......I got result.......

            In my AV, I set Spam msg to delete so that msg comes to categorizer and after that AV detect that msg as spam and delete it. Once I made change that delete to move msg in spam folder.....It resolved.
