  • Changed mail store quota but old quota is still in effect

Hi all. Exchange 2003 SP2. Mailbox store quota warning was set to 100MB. We have now upped this to 1GB but still after a few days the old quota is being enforced.

My mailbox is 200MB and I get the warning e-mail saying the warning limit is 100MB.

Do I need to dismount and mount the store?

Take a look at this article and see if it helps.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/327378

The default cache time for this setting is 2 hours. The article above describes how to change it. You may find that the setting is wrong, but if it's been a few days there may be some other problem.

Thanks for that Joe. In the end I dismounted and mounted the store and it has worked.
