  • Can't get OWA login page to display server 2003

    Hello,

I just migrated my install of SBS to Sever 2003 standard with exchange 2003 standard and OMA.

    I have two problems:

    1) I can't display the OWA login page. It pops up asking for the username/password, and if you enter it, it allows you directly into your mailbox

    2) The default username displayed that pops up is "mail.domain.com\username" and it should be domain\username.

I've followed several troubleshooting advices to solve the issues without help. Here are current settings:

Default Website, Exchange folder, and Exchweb folder auth/access control set to enable anonymous (IUSER_server) and Integrated Windows Auth.

The logon.asp is set as the default page under the exchange directory.

I've restarted IIS a couple of times, also.

    Any ideas?

In order to have the OWA login page, form based authentication is needed.
Take a look into Daniel's article
