  • Security question regarding unathorizied mailbox access

I read your article "How do I grant the administrator(s) (or any other user) full mailbox right on Exchange 2000/2003 mailboxes?" I have a security question for you. How can you tell if it is possible to tell which accounts someone accessed, when accessed, and which computer accessed from.

    Thanks

You can enable diagnostic logging on the IS MBX item in the server's properties and view the details in Event Viewer.

The issue is that I have a administrator that is reading emails from other users and no idea who it is. I previously did not have the IS MBX logging turned on so from now on I will know who is reading the emails, but any ideas as to find out who was doing it in the first place
