I am new to Exchange 2003 technology. I would like to know what are the benefits of having multiple exchange servers in an environment and how is it different than clustering exchange servers?
    Quick respone would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

"A quick response"... damn, I fear I wasn't quick enough. Master.

The benefits of having more than one Exchange server are not related to the ones when having Exchange clusters.

Multiple servers do not backup each other and do not provide mbx or pf redundancy. They're good when you need to split up your mailboxes between servers because of load, i/o issues, performance, remote site access and others.

Hope that was fast enough for you, master.
