  • RPC over HTTP

We are using exchange 2003 and already have OWA in place.

What would i need to do to configure RPC over HTTP ?

IS the fact an SSL cert is in place make things easier ?

    thanks in advance

internally, a profile properly configured for an RPC connection. externally, an A record and properly fowarded ports.

    have you looked at:

A certificate makes everything easier. Your OWA will no longer prompt with the ugle security message. Your Active Sync users can tick the SSL box on their phones. A cert costs $18/yr from GoDaddy, a no brainer in my view.

If you get it, make sure you install it in the correct order. It makes everything easier afterwards.

Follow the instructions in the previously mentioned link TO THE LETTER and you'll get it working. It's a beautiful thing.
