  • Adding another Exchange Server

    Hello,
I've been an Exchange administrator for a few years now, but have always onlt been working on 1 server.

I am now at the point to add a new server in another location and was wondering the best place to read up on how to do it.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

    thanks!

    Re: Adding another Exchange Server

microsoft.com would be a good start.
There isn't much to it really. Ensure that the servers are on the same patch level and are maintained on the same patch level and can see each other.
Replicate the public and system folders to the other machine.

    Simon.

Yeah I've looked on MS..not seeing anything that stands out.
I did read years ago that there could be complications, so that's why I asked.

      thanks for the reply!

        No complications. Just do it.
