  • mail notification push e-mail exchange 2003 SP2

    Hello everybody,

I don't know if this posting is at the right newsgroup but I couldn't find a match to my question.
I have a SBS 2003 Server with Exchange 2003 SP2 and Windows Mobile 5.0 powered devices. Some of our users have in their inboxes subfolders with mail which are controlled thru a set of rules in Outlook 2003 to put mail from a particular sender into these inbox subfolders. This works fine, but the Windows Mobile 5.0 devices are not signaling the user if there is a incoming mail into one of these subfolders, so they have to watch 'now en then' into these folders to see if there is mail..

Is there a particulair solution for this?

Victor, you may have already discovered this, but even with server side / client side rules set up, you still have to tell your WMD to sync the folder(s) underneath the Inbox.

I have found only e-mail coming into the Inbox triggers a notification event.

It took me a long look to realise we're talking "Windows Mobile Device" and not "Weapon of Mass Destruction" here!

Thats started a very scary chain of thought.....
