    Dear Friends,

    my name is kumar call me as RK or kumar as u wish...i am new to this forum and its my first posting.

    I need a help from you all on ...i was struck on....Moving exchange data base in E2K3...

    I have one storage group....in that ..i have 4 mail box stores...i have very less space in this storage froup drive (H and i have free space in some other drive.

    my mail box store sizes are 15GB,20GB.25GB & 30GB ,so i want to move only one store 25GB to another drive which is having free space.

    so i need clarification on.... can i move alone data base with out logs why b`cos if check properties in particular sotre i am getting to change location for only data base..AND there is no option to change logs poath.... so please help to on this how to proceed further.

    Yes, you can specify different locations for the database and for the log files using system manager

    As always, have a backup before you more the files, just in case....

      Exchange logs are Per Storage Group & database files (.edb,.stm) are per mailbox store.

      so you can have diff. location for Logs & database.
