  • how can i restore deleted user email

    i use exchange 2003 sp2 and users has been deleted they emails and one of them ask me can i recover deleted email last month ago, my question is how can i recover email which had been deleted on exchange server, should i restore from nt backup and how does it work ....?

    You can set up a "recovery storage group" and restore from backup to there

      Also depend on the deleted mail retention time you set up on your server. Mine is set for 30 days, so a month may just be off the edge.
      Also, retention by default only works on items in deleted items folder. For future use, check up on the registry key "DumpsterAlwayOn"
      () to retain other items.
