  • Two DC Server

I have two servers blue.acme.com and red.acme.com. I am looking to install exchange server on red.acme.com. Server blue.acme.com is my DNS and DC server. The book that I'm reading is telling me that it is good to have two DC servers for redundancy. If I setup red.acme.com as a second domain DC, will it cause a problem for exchange server.

Having two domain and installing a exchange server in a single domain will not cause any problem for your domain controller activites.

Joe, this is the third thread about your 2 server problem. One was in the 2003 Server Forum, one in Active Directory and now the third one here. This is NOT how it is done. You have earned a 2 week holiday from posting on the Forums. I suggest you read and become familiar with the Posting Rules.
