  • Domain Users can`t connect to OWA

    I have a strange error with sbs2003 & OWA :
Only the domain admis can access their mailboxes through owa. Domain users that are tring to use OWA gets "access denied".
It looks like a security problem, but I checked the IIS and and NTFS permissions and even compared with another sbs2003 server and didn`t find anything.
even tried to reset the iis (deleted all the vdirs and recreate them by deleting the key with metabase editor) and still nothing...

    help please

    thank you,
    Noam.

Verify that the users are enabled for OWA:
User properties - Exchange Features - Protocols - Outlook Web Access.
CNE 5, CCA, MCSE NT4.0-2003, MCSE 2003 messaging, Exchange Server MVP.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that if I`m joining the user to the domain admins group he can access OWA.

So, if the user didn`t have the owa access enabled in exchange features, then also if I would joined him to the domain admins group he wouldn`t have access.

Try the next fix or delete and recreate the "Exchange" Vdir:
