  • Inetinfo.exe using 100% CPU on Exchange Server 2003

Exchange SP2 was recently loaded on my Exchange 2003 server. Shortly after the inetinfo.exe process is using 100% cpu and causing the server to grind to a halt, significantly impacting users in Outlook.

Any ideas on why this may have happened and how this can be rectified
    Thanks

inetinfo.exe is essentially the IIS service. I take it you've tried the fix-all, a reboot?

Otherwise I think we might need a little bit more from you, like any errors in the logs.

Presuming that the machine is fully up to date on Windows and Exchange patches and services packs...

Most of the time I see this it is caused by badly configured or misbehaving antivirus software.
