  • Exchange 2003 send and receive for multi domains

I was able to get exchange to recevie email for multi domains. However, I was not able to configure exchange to send email with multi domains. Is there a way to do this with native exchange or a third party software? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!!!

Did you add all the domains in the recipient policy?

Re: Exchange 2003 send and receive for multi domains

While is happy for Exchange to have multiple domains for incoming email, for outbound things are little more difficult.
As far as Exchange is concerned, all users only have one email address - the primary address. All other email addresses are aliases and used for inbound only.

There is no native way of choosing which address you should send from. There are basically two methods...

      1. Multiple accounts and use the From field.
      2. A third party tool such as Choose From from ivasoft.biz.

If you want to go down the multiple accounts route, then take a look at my web site here: http://www.amset.info/exchange/twodomainsoneuser.asp
