  • Restrict Users to send only to a specific group of Internal Users.

I have a group of users that are on a highly classified project and only need to allow them to recieve internal mail, I can do that, send only internal mail, I can do that, but I also need to only allow them to send to a specific group of internal users or not be able to send internally at all and only recieve internally.
Running Exchange 2003 Enterprise in a Win 2003 AD environment. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.

Try in the AD of each user:
AD - User properties - Exchange General - Delivery restrictions - Accept messages - From everyone except.

Well I could enter all the classified users in that field of the rest of my users so my classified ones couldn't send to the unclassified but that would be an administrative nightmare, it wouldn't be so bad is I could use groups but my only option is 'Users' and 'Other Options' in that field. I need something that is easier to manage if its out there. Thanks.

        Can't you create groups?....

Exchange isn't very good at this kind of restriction.
As you have pointed out, the option to select a group isn't there.
Therefore if you want to restrict the users you will have to set all of the users individually.

You can use admodify.net (same URL) to make the changes in bulk.
