  • Exchange 5.5

    Hi,
    I have exchange 5.5 sp4.
I want to prevent from one mailbox to send e-mail outside the organization.
I want him to be able to send only internal e-mails.
how can i do it ?

You've probably worked it out by now, but here goes anyway. Check out the Delivey restrictions on your IMC and x400 connectors. Use the "reject messages from" feature.

Does this user need to receive outside email?

If the answer is no, the easiest way to prevent the user from sending or receiving outside the organization is to delete their SMTP address. Deleting the X.400 address will prevent them sending, but not prevent them receiving, outside mail.
