  • Edit SMTP settings


    I am handling AD part of the domain. I have a Helpdesk setup for the environment to log/solve queries. I have to provide Helpdesk Users the rights.... to change / edit SMTP Properties of the end users.

    Which attributes in Active directory I need to enable for the helpdesk user's to perform this task.

    Early reply would be appreciated.

    If you know anything about creating webpages you could create a Helpdesk webpage on your intranet with theese tips and tricks:

    Not exactly the answer to your question, but it's an option.

      SharePoint 3.0 has a Helpdesk Template.

      Haven't looked but there may even be one for SharePoint 2.0.

        To work with Exchange attributes the users need to have at least Exchange View Only privileges in either the domain or if you have split the Org in to admin groups, in the admin group that you want them to work with.
