  • Question regarding multiple email domains

This is my first post here, so hello everyone!

I have been looking at this article -

I need to do this for a server which will be receiving for several domains, but my question is : if I have set up different email address poilicies for different users, will each user then be able to SEND mail from that particular email address? (not just receive)

they dont need to send from all domains (i dont think thats possible), just the domain for the policy to which they belong.

    many thanks.

Yes - If you add / change the recipient policy for all the relevant domains AND you change the MX records as well - the users will be able to send/recieve emails with the relevant email address that you configured for each one of them.

Re: Question regarding multiple email domains

Note that all email that a particular user sends will appear to come from the default address on the account.

So if the user has three addresses...

        [email protected]
        [email protected]
        [email protected]

and [email protected] is the default, then all email will go out as [email protected] The user will be able to receive email on the other two fine.
