  • Setup Boardroom resource for bookings

I have setup a resource being our BoardRoom so that when users want to book it for their meetings, all they have to do is include the Boardroom into the attendee list and mark it as a resource which works gr8.

I now have a situation where PAs need to book the boardroom for meetings which they are not attending so the appointment is not to appear in their calendar.

They open the calendar for the BoardRoom and invite attendees. In this situation, the BoardRoom is the Meeting Organiser but when the invitation arrives to the required attendees' mailbox, they accept the invitation and then get this error:

What do I need to do to get this to work?

Re: Setup Boardroom resource for bookings

    1. Have you checked the permissions on the Resource mailbox (Calendar / Outlook Today)?
    2. Have you checked that there is no blocking in the AD (Exchange General - Delivery Restrictions) from both sides - sender and recipient?
