I installed IMF version 1 after installing exchange servicepack 2. IMF stopped working immediately. Is it safe to reinstall exchange servicepack 2?

You installed IMF v1 AFTER SP2?
I thought SP2 installed IMF for you.

        Have you removed IMF v1?
If so, then reinstall service pack 2 and then reboot the server.

          Simon.
If I do so, I wont't loose any functionality or settings?
(by the way thanks for answering so quickly)

            Re: IMF problem

You will lose functionality until you reinstall Service Pack 2 , enable IMF on the SMTP vs. You will also lose your settings, but these are easily put back as the window is almost identical.

This isn't an issue you have any choice about.

            Simon.
