  • Public Folder - Email Enable

    Hi
    I am trying to figure out how I can see more fields on a email enable public folder on exchange 2003 sp2

    when looking for an email that was sent to that public folder I can't seem to see all the usual details that were send for example (CC field)
    I have notice that the email is being seen as a note

    any thing that can be done ???

    Does it happened on all PF mail enabled folders or just one?

    It should show you all the recipient's detailes

      If you want to see the messages in the same format as regular email messages, then you need to change the format of the messages.
      This is a registry change which only applies to new messages - you cannot easily change old messages.

      You haven't said which version of Exchange you are using. If you are on Exchange 2003 then this is the KB article that you need: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=832492

      You do not need the hotfix mentioned as it was integrated in to the service packs.

        Hi All
        10x for getting back to me
        to make things clear

        - I have exchange 2003 sp2
        - this thing is happening on all my enable public folder
        - I can see inside the folder some emails and for that all is fine and I can see the From and the CC , and lot of other items are Notes (that got in , cause of an application sending standard email to it) and for the notes I can see the CC

          You have to make the change in the KB article that I linked to above. It will not change existing items, only new items, and it doesn't take effect until the information store service is restarted.
