  • Exchange 2003 sp2 having problem sending to groups

    Hi
Some issue that we have in exchange 2003 sp2.
Every now and then the exchange server is unable to send to groups only to users.
You can send to 100 users but not to group with 2 users in it. The only way to solve this problem is to restart the exchange server and the front-end server at the same time!!
The problem occur every now and then it can take 3 days or 3 months,
More information, the AD is 2003 servers (3), both the exchange server are up to date,
The database where moved to NetApp not long ago, but the problem was before and it still here.

    Thanks

Re: Exchange 2003 sp2 having problem sending to groups

are all three DCs located on the same LAN? or are two of them on a WAN link or something remote?

try to specify that the FE/BE only authenticate with the closest DC you have. if you do have all of them there, then specify that the FE/BE queries only the GC/FSMO... you can do this via ESM...

sounds like the server is timing out running the look up on your groups...

the groups are QBD i assume?
