  • Outlook unreachable and M: drive missing.

    Windows Server 2000, Exchange 2000

Came in this morning and users could not connect to outlook. Event log had errors about incorrect path...
Tried restarting all exchange services then rebooting.
Still no luck so we noticed that the M: drive is not showing up.
We did a restore from backup of exchange. Still no M: drive.
    Any ideas?
I searched the forum before posting and found a couple of references but nothing that really fit.

The M drive is NOT the data. Look at the event log, see what services didn't start. Do you have any AV running? Did you exclude it from scanning the M drive? Did you try to backup or restore the M drive?
