oma error

  • oma error

    I get the following error when i try to load oma as follow:

    http://exchangeserver/oma

    A System error has occurred while processing your request. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact your administrator.

    i have followed the microsoft 817379 method 2 but did not help

    can someone help me please?

        how have you got your exchange set up,
        if you have ssl set up you will get an error,
        i only have 1 exchange server


        If you scroll down, i did method 2.

          Here is the exact error I get:

          My exchange is the working ok, OWA works fine. I have sp2 installed. I did not install sp1 and then sp2 since microsoft claims sp2 is a cumulative sp. OWA works via ssl. when id did not have ssl owa wan not working ok. it was getting stuck on loading the messages

            2. Have you tried to click home?

            3. Did you try remove the SSL from the OMA and add it again?

              i have tried all the above methods. can you please let me know what vdirectories i should have under default website and the setting for each one so that oma works fine? Can i give someone access to tr to fix it for me? I would appreciate it very much

                  problem sovled.

                  I recreated the directories as per your article info. I then had to create a vdir name
                  exchange-oma and change the value in the local path under virtual directory properties to \\.\BackOfficeStorage\yourdomain.com\MBX

                  Now it works like a dream
