    Hello Friends

I get an database corrpution error logged in event viewer. I restart my server and everything is fine. but database corruption is still their. After maintanance run at night that error is gone.

But Modified "date and time" on .edb & .stm file are same sept 14 when this error came in and their also tmp.edb file. now trans logs are piling up day by day.

please tell me what can i do in this situation to save or commint trans log to database and delete those log files.
Is it ok to dismount the store and mount it.

    Regards
    Guri

      Re: database corruption

This is normal behaviour. The transaction logs get purged when you do a full backup.

        Re: database corruption

What happens when you run your full backup of the database? Does it run successfully? That is what will determine if the database file is corrupted or not.

Also, what is the specific "database corruption" error you are seeing and where are you seeing it? Event Viewer?
