  • Exchange 2003 admin tools on DC

First time .. Hi to this usergroup!

I have an Exch 2003 server (SP2) installed in Win 2003 member server (SP1).
I notice that the exchange admin options are missing from the Active Directory User and Computers on my Windows 2003 domain controller (SP1).

Though I have heard MS doesn't recommend the tools on a DC, does anyone see any major reason not to install them?

My main reasin is I am testing a web based Admin tool called ADManager. This has some features for reporting on Exchange accounts but they don't appear. I'm wondering if this is because Exchange admin is not on the domain controller thus planning to install them on the DC to fix this.

    Anyone?

    Many thanks
    Alan Andrews.

Do it. No harm in installing the Exchange mgmt tools.
