  • Telecoms Forum?

IT and telecoms are becoming one more every day, how about a telecoms hardware, software, vendors etc forum

    Re: Telecoms Forum?

Not very likely at this stage as this is the first telecom post I have seen on this site. Don't really have that many questions for VoIP.
    1 1 was a racehorse.
    2 2 was 1 2.
    1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
    2 2 1 1 2

IMHO, No, as one of the strengths of the Petri site is that we are focussed and bring in a lot of expertise. There are many, many sites with forums on all aspects of IT but without the level of detail we bring to a narrow subset of the field.

OK points taken but do you actually know if your membership has expertise or deals with telecoms? Maybe they presently go elsewhere because there is no place on Petri?

          Re: Telecoms Forum?

They can post these questions in the Misc forum.
If there are a lot of postings about telecoms then it's possible that a forum will be created for this.

However, due to the lack of such questions I don't see why there should be a Telecoms forum.

telecoms forums should be opened because this is the emerging field with many opportunities and questions to be answered

Mmmmm, yes of course, just like your post is not an attempt to have your sms URL posted on this site. Is NOT a good idea to attempt that again.
