  • God is German and he rides a BMW

After doing one day on the new BMW K1200R (over 160 bhp, 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA), ABS and electric-assisted dual braking system) and over 500 km, I am (again) hooked on German motors.

Here are 3 small pictures of the monster:

I notice you are wearing dark glasses. I guess if I was on a bike that ugly I wouldn't want to be recognised either!
    1 1 was a racehorse.
    2 2 was 1 2.
    1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
    2 2 1 1 2

Re: God is German and he rides a BMW

I have a problem with the subject's logic...

In the context of your post (and your alter-ego), there are 2 candidates for God:
      1) BMW
      2) You (ain't your ego a bit touchy today ?)

Now, BMW is German, BUT how come BMW can ride a BMW ?
With you, Daniel, as candidate for the so called "God", there is another issue. I KNOW that you are NOT German...

So the question stands: who is this German that is riding a BMW ?

Another issue with this, is the fact that your post subject contradicts the well known statement by another well-known German - Mr. Friedrich Nietzsche: "God is dead "

So making some adjustments to my original question, I will re-phrase it: "Who is this dead German that is riding a BMW ?"

P.S.: You are dead mean if you do not show up tomorrow with the new beast !
      Enjoy it !

You son of a... Ok, you got me. I wasn't thinking when I posted. How can you think when your legs tremble like that?

BTW, it's not that I've never ridden a beast, just not one that ugly:

Hey, I'm German (2nd generation I've never been there). I drive a German car and ride a German bike. What does that make me?

Daniel, nice to see a fellow BMW rider in the forum.
Enjoy your bike and ignore the haters.

          I've been rockin a 2004 Rockster 1150 for about a year.

Andrew, I quite like BMWs, I just think that is one Mother of all Ugly bikes. The old Kwaka looks better than that.

Just to clear matters - that is NOT my current bike. I just took it for a test ride for a day. My next bike will (probably) be a BMW R1200GS.

That's a classy looking dirt bike Daniel. Better looking than it's ugly cousin.

                    You're quick!

Now since you CAN read Hebrew, why don't you read what I had to say about it right over here:

Daniel posted a link to a page that is in Hebrew and we were remarking about how cryptic the language looks to someone who can't read it.
